CASHT is an institution for scientific research in the field of "History", whose mission and goals are: initiation, development and promotion of research projects in the field of Humanities, developing a high standard of scientific research in the domain of History, continuous improvement through European and international exchanges, consulting activities, promotion of deserving scientific results, publication of studies and scientific articles in the form of magazines and books in Romanian and foreign languages, organization of national and international conferences, seminars, exhibitions and symposia, organizing postgraduate courses, preparation of master dissertations, PhD theses and postdoctoral work, organizing art and book exhibitions, literature, concerts and book launches.
The CASHT main activities are: Publishing books, periodicals, brochures, posters and other informational materials; creating websites and newsletters to represent the primary means of information and promotion of members and activities of the Centre; active participation in various national and international projects; organizing public events and other activities to raise public awareness; collaboration with international organizations related to the Center's activity and affiliation to similar organizations in the country and abroad; advising people interested in history and related sciences; supporting CASHT members in their relations with governmental and nongovernmental institutions in the country and abroad; developing its own programs and in partnership with public and private authorities in the country and abroad; encouraging and promoting development by sponsoring scientific research in humanities and social sciences, promoting the arts and culture. CASHT research activity, reflected in research programs approved by the Scientific Council of the Center, is conducted in compliance with national and international regulations on intellectual property rights, professional ethics and deontology in academic research in history and related fields.
